    Wait for God

Waiting is not an easy thing, and our fast food culture doesn't make it easy. How's waiting good for us? Dr. Charles Stanley told us his story when his mother taught him to plant a little garden. They planted the seeds, watered, then waited. But after two days, Dr. Stanley saw there was nothing changed then he went to the garden and dug it out. Then he got the first lesson of waiting from his mother. Becasue you plant seeds, you have to give it time to grow. And the truth is it is one of the most important biblical principles in the entire world of God.

The mistake idea that lots of people have is waiting means doing nothing. That's not ture at all. Waiting basically means I remain my position until I get the further instruction, it means I'm willing to wait until He gives me the direction. It is a purpose of waiting.

The reason God wants us to wait is sometimes, God needs time to get our circumstances lined up so that what He and I agreed on will take place. And also He needs time to change our wrong attitude, shift things in our life that doesn't belong to us. It is a matter of giving God time to get us ready to show us His will. Sometimes we need to be quiet, let God just do His things, then He will give you instructions, He will give you directions, He will enable you, He will equip you for the battle that you need. Since He knows everything about the future, so we have to wait for His signal, this is the time to move. When we wait for Him, we submit ourselves to His time schedule, then He makes His awesome promise, acts on our behalf.

Then what is required of us to that? First of all, we have to trust Him. If we don't trust Him, we won't trust His schdeule, we won't trust His timing, we won't trust His purpose, we won't trust His ways, then we will step ahead of Him. Second is patience. Faith and patience go hand on hand. Patience isn't doing nothing, patience is the capacity to wait. Not to react, not to move ahead until God gives further direction and guidence. The third, of course it takes courage. When sometimes it looks everything that demands you move right now, all the voices you hear say move on, do it now, do not wait, you may lose your opportunity. It takes courage to be quiet and to wait upon Him.

Waiting on God, trust in Him is one of the most awesome principles in scriptures and He will bless us every time you wait on Him.

    Peace from God

If you want to experience the peace from God, you have to have a very strong relationship with Him. This relationship comes from the time you spend with God, reading His words, speaking and listening to Him, all these help you to build that relationship with Him. For everyday, we are busy with work, we meet lots of people, we hear different voices, we have to handle different situations, but if we can spend sometime in the moring with God, read whatever He leads us to read, pray on our knees in a quiet place just like what Jesus did, then He will give us directions, focuses, strength and peace. If you want the peace for all day long, you should begin with the peacemaker.

Does that mean we won't have any problem then? Certainly not. It means either with or without problems, in the middle or avoiding them, there is an awesome peace from God that makes us possible to have a joyful heart in any circumstance.

Then how do we maintain a sense of peace and spiritual balance when trails strike? The answer is found in a close, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.  An unshakable peace is available to all who turn the eyes of their hearts to Jesus. Chances are that when adversity strikes, one of the first things we do is to wonder why. Then we may question what kind of impact it will have on our lives. These questions are normal, but we also need another response, and that is to turn to the One who holds all comfort and security firmly within His grasp. No one, outside of God, is equipped to handle our problems. He never meant for us to be strong on our own. He wants us to find courage and hope and strength in Him and His Words. Apart from Him, what we will have is just anxiety which is the opposite of peace.

Paul admonishes us: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:6, 7).

God knows all our feelings. He knows who wounds us, He knows the hurt we have experienced, He knows what we need in what time, He knows our right way for the future, He knows what's the best for us......only what we should do is turning to Him, keeping an intimate relationship with Him, then the peace from Him will be given to us as a gift and also we will find mercy and grace, forgiveness and hope, strength and everlasting security.

    Principle #30
An eager anticipation of the Lord’s return keeps us living productively.

Cast All the Cares on God

The psalmist wrote, "Be still, and know that I am God" (46:10). Paul exhorted the Philippians to "be anxious for nothing" (Phil. 4:6). And Peter instructed his readers to cast all their cares on God (1 Peter 5:7).

How can someone stop worrying and be "still"? Only through prayer and trust in the loving God (Phil. 4:6-7). Those who cast their cares on Him can set aside the noise and confusion, ambitions and strivings, and enter into the peace of God (v.7).

This doesn’t mean that those who are "still" before the Lord will escape life’s dangers and dilemmas, but it does mean they will have the ability to live with tranquility in the midst of them. Though trouble may remain, the confusion, apprehension, and despair begin to fade away. Such people show poise under pressure; they’re unshaken by life’s alarms; they radiate peace wherever they go.

If you’ve never acquainted yourself with the depths of God’s love and His call for you to live in that love, your life will be filled with anxiety and cares. You’ll often be fretful and restless—always looking for that illusive "something more."

When you learn to turn your confidence toward God and cast your cares on Him, you can be calm in the midst of life’s demands.

    LOVE

On this the day when we express
    Undying love and faithfulness,
Let’s not forget that God above
Gave us His Son in perfect love.  —Hess

The more we understand God’s love for us, the more love we’ll show to others.

    Happy Valentine!!!

    Our Distinct Advantage

Have you ever felt that if God were to show up today as often as He did in the lives of the people in Bible times, you too could be a spiritual hero? It’s easy to think that people like Abraham, Moses, Paul, and others had a distinct edge because God showed up in spectacular ways to talk with and tell them exactly what to do. We think that if Jesus would just appear and give us the lowdown on life face-to-face, we could all be the smashing success for Him that we always wanted to be.

But it’s not just the people of the Bible who leave us thinking that we must be second-rate Christians. All you have to do is go to a prayer meeting where someone gives a glowing report on the way in which God dramatically answered their prayer, while your prayer list remains full of unanswered prayers. Let’s face it. It’s easy to grow discouraged and sometimes even disillusioned with our less-than-spectacular Christianity. And when that happens, our walk with Christ becomes ritualistic and unenthusiastic.

But before you get depressed, it’s possible that your expectations and perspectives are out of whack. When we think that all Bible people had it good, we should note that God “showed up” in Abraham’s life only about once every 15 years! Abraham had no Bible, no small-group fellowship, and no exhilarating worship experiences, yet his steadfast faith is celebrated in Hebrews 11:8-19. And even though Joseph was unrelentingly faithful to God against great odds, for many years God didn’t “show up” to rescue him from his plight. Yet he hung in there because he knew that “the Lord was with him” (Genesis 39:21). Paul had only two direct encounters with Jesus. You can count on it, the rest of their lives were pretty ordinary, a lot like yours and mine.

It’s easy to think that Joshua and God’s people in the Old Testament were unusually blessed because God promised to be with them (Deuteronomy 31:6-8; Joshua 1:9). But we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that the same promise is given to us in the New Testament (Hebrews 13:5). Jesus Himself promised that He would not leave us as “orphans” but would send the Holy Spirit to be in us and with us (John 14:16-18). In fact, if anybody has an edge, we do! God dwells within us in the person of the Holy Spirit to convict, comfort, guide, and encourage. His 24/7 presence is waiting to be tapped and used no matter where we are or what we are facing. We have the full revelation of Scripture that the Holy Spirit uses to teach and direct our lives. No Bible hero had the privilege of having a Book that could be carried, read, memorized, and used in transforming ways to tell them everything they needed to know about God and themselves—but you and I do!

You may still be saying, “Yeah, but God hasn’t done anything for me lately!” If so, remember that if He does nothing more than save us from sin, cancel hell, and guarantee heaven, He has already done far more than we deserve and enough to keep us happily praising Him for the rest of our lives!

Now’s a good time to start rejoicing. You’ve been blessed with all you need for growth and glory! Tap the resource.

        YOUR JOURNEY…

    • Have you ever felt abandoned by God, or cheated because of a lack of “spectacular” events in your life? Take a moment to ask God to forgive you and to gratefully thank Him for the riches He has by grace given you.
    • Since you have the advantage of the Holy Spirit and the Bible, what can you do to be more sensitive to the voice of the Spirit and the life-changing input of God’s Word?
    • Think of a situation you will face or have faced today in which you can use your spiritual advantage to make a difference. Be specific, and then follow through.
    • If God never seems to do anything spectacular for you, is He still worthy of your undiminished love and enthusiastic loyalty? Why or why not?

    Prayer Request

All my brothers and sisters, we need your prayer for pastor Patrick, he was seriously involved in an car accident. We need your prayer that he may get recover soon. Thank you so much!

The Mind Goes The Man Follows

If you are thinking about a hamburger, you will get to eat a hamburger even if common sense tells you it's not good to eat hamburger before sleep, but as you have thought it for a long time, you will get to eat it. The same principle works in every area in our life. While the mind goes, the man follows. The Bible says if we walk in the flesh, it becasue we have our minds in flesh things. If we walk in the spirit, it's because our minds are in spiritual things.

We have an ourter life and we have an inner life, we have life that everybody sees and we have life that no body sees, but us and God. And every thought we think, God hears it. We may think we can fool everybody else, but we can not fool God. And He says it's the hidden man in the heart that is important to Him. It's not how we braid our hair, not the jewelry we wear, it's not how much scriptures we can quote, how many chapters we have read, how many sermons we go to. People like to use these outside stuff to declare their Christianity, but God is really not impressed with any of them. That doesn't mean God is against these things, it's good to do different things to tell the world that I'm a Chrisitian, but it's not good if you do not have a life style to back it up. Because the world is looking the excuse to point the finger at the church for its hypocrisy.

God is not care about what we do but why we do it, He is more interested in the "why" behind "what" than just "what". You can give somebody something very nice and yet give it with an unhealthy motive. You can actually give to get, you can give somebody something to get favour with them, or to get promotion or to buy the friendship, or to help them not to care for something bad you have done...but we give should be out of love. We need to give becasue we want to give, becasue we want to be a blessing, we want to help somebody, we should give because we love someone. We should give because Jesus has done to us and He asked us to do, becasue it's the principle in His word and it is the appreciation to what God has done to us and knowing the spiritual laws that God established will work that if He says you will reap what you sow, that if we do give we will reap. Our motive should be right.

Our motive is our thoughts, attitudes, motives, they have everything to do with the inner life. Our outer life is our reputation with people, our inner life is our reputation with God. Many people trade off good reputation to God to keep good reputation with people, no wonder the Bible says Jesus made Himself of no reputation. We have to learn how to have a better reputation with God than we do with people. We need our mind adjusted. How to get that mind straightened out, so we can get our mouth straightened out so we can get our life straightened out. Because our mouth speaks out of heart, so we have to go back to the root of our problem and the root of our problem very often starts in our thoughts.

The mind is the battle field, that is where Satan wages war with us. And if you don't learn how to think the thoguths that God wants you to think and to choose to think your own thoughts and allow thinking anything in your head, you will never going to walk victory. If you don't think different, you will never live different. We live in the houses made of thougts, our houses are the representive of our life.

    Jeremiah 4:14
O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved! How long shall you iniquitous and grossly offensive thougts lodge within you?

When we sit around and meditate on evil, angry, bitter things about people, those are offensive thoughts, those are iniquit thoughts. Even "worry" is offensive to the Holy Spirit. Because when we worry, we start thinking "I don't believe you are taking care of me". We can control our worry otherwise Bible won't tell us don't be worry. Anything Bible tells us not to do we have the way not to do it. We just need to seek God for the revelation He wants to give us.

If your life is a big mess, your mind is a big mess. If you want to have a better life, you should have a better thinking. How to have a better thinking? If you think good things, then wrong things have no place to get in. But if you sit around empty headed, then the wrong thing is always coming back to your mind. We can choose to think something good but not to wait for something good coming to our heads. If you don't choose, the devil will choose for you. So we should choose the right mind then follows it.

    My Joy...Your Joy

    John 15:11

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full

What was the joy that Jesus had? Joy should not be confused with happiness.  The joy of Jesus was His absolute self-surrender and self-sacrifice to His Father— the joy of doing that which the Father sent Him to do— ". . . who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross . . ." ( Hebrews 12:2 ). "I delight to do Your will, O my God . . ." ( Psalm 40:8 ). Jesus prayed that our joy might continue fulfilling itself until it becomes the same joy as His. Have I allowed Jesus Christ to introduce His joy to me?

Living a full and overflowing life does not rest in bodily health, in circumstances, nor even in seeing God’s work succeed, but in the perfect understanding of God, and in the same fellowship and oneness with Him that Jesus Himself enjoyed. But the first thing that will hinder this joy is the subtle irritability caused by giving too much thought to our circumstances. Jesus said, ". . . the cares of this world, . . . choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful" ( Mark 4:19 ). And before we even realize what has happened, we are caught up in our cares. All that God has done for us is merely the threshold— He wants us to come to the place where we will be His witnesses and proclaim who Jesus is.

Have the right relationship with God, finding your joy there, and out of you "will flow rivers of living water" ( John 7:38 ). Be a fountain through which Jesus can pour His "living water." Stop being hypocritical and proud, aware only of yourself, and live "your life . . . hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3 ). A person who has the right relationship with God lives a life as natural as breathing wherever he goes. The lives that have been the greatest blessing to you are the lives of those people who themselves were unaware of having been a blessing.

    Words to Remember

1 What we have at the center of our attention is what has us. • King David is both a positive and negative example of this principle. Whatever he gave his attention to would either “make him” or “break him.”

2 God loves us enough to accept us as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way. • Could anything be better? (Philippians 1:6).

3 Nothing is so relevant as the eternal. • A Jewish man named Asaph learned this thousands of years ago while struggling with feelings of envy, disappointment, and doubt (Psalm 73).

4 We see things not only as they are, but as we are. • Uh-oh (Titus 1:15).

5 To change, we must want something else more than what we now have. • Maybe this is why the Scriptures say we will find the Lord (and the heart-changing help of His Spirit) only when we look for Him with all our heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

6 Live for what you will not regret when you die. • “What profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Matthew 16:26).

7 The secret of abundance is found not in what we have, but in what we enjoy (or are thankful for). • Paul expressed this in his letter to the Philippians (ch. 4). Nothing produces wealth more quickly or certainly than a heart of gratefulness.

8 The poorest of all are those who don’t know the one to thank for the sunshine or to trust in the dark. • Isaiah said it with an edge. Even the ox knows its master, and the donkey knows where to find its food (Isaiah 1:3). Those who don’t know their God are poorer than both of them.

9 We can learn more from our critics than our admirers. • One group tells us how wonderful we are. The other tells us the truth (Proverbs 27:6; Psalm 141:5).

10 When I am in the presence of God, it seems profoundly unbecoming to demand anything. —Francis Schaeffer • No one understood this better than our Lord, who said, “Nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:42).

11 Attack problems, not people. • I get the two confused until I remember the words and spirit of Christ (Matthew 5:43-44).

12 For some troubles, God has not given us answers—He’s given us His Son. • That was His gift to the thief on the cross (Luke 23:43) and to us.

13 What God thinks of us is more important than what we think of ourselves. • Paul seemed to have this down pretty well. He showed that he not only took the opinions of others, but also his own, with a grain of salt (1 Corinthians 4:3-4; Romans 14).

14 Fear God—not to run from Him, but to Him. • This might be even more basic than loving Him (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10).

15 Get knowledge—but don’t depend on your knowledge. Seek to be wise—but don’t rely on your wisdom. Work hard—but don’t trust in your hard work. Work smart—but don’t stake everything on your own cleverness and efficiency. Be ethical—but don’t lean on your morality. Make plans—but don’t hope in your plans. Save money—but don’t trust your savings. Add up your numbers—but don’t count on them. Value people—but don’t depend on people. • That lengthy New Testament letter that doesn’t ever mention the subject of idols by name—yet abruptly ends with the words, “Little children, keep yourselves from idols” (1 John 5:21).

16 We are saved by God’s mercy, not by our merit; by Christ’s dying, not by our doing; by trusting, not by trying. • If it came down to having one or the other, we’d probably do well to trade all of our assets and education for this one thought (Ephesians 2:8-9).

17 Worse than blindness is sight without vision. —Helen Keller • Jesus also said, “Take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness” (Luke 11:35).

18 Wise are those who look at others with the same generosity they offer themselves, and who look at themselves with the same critical eye they have for others. • Yet look what we do! We blame others to get the attention off ourselves (Matthew 7:3).

19 It’s better to deserve honors and not to have them, than to have them and not deserve them. —Mark Twain • Jesus gave an example of someone who takes a seat of honor at a banquet, but then is told to give it to someone else (Luke 14:7-11).

20 I have found that the desire to have is soon replaced by the fear of losing. • Solomon wrote a whole essay about this (Ecclesiastes).

21 Use things and love people. Don’t use people and love things. • Why, after so many complex and profound things are considered, do the most important things in life seem so simple?

    The Great Life

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled . . . —John 14:27

Whenever we experience something difficult in our personal life, we are tempted to blame God. But we are the ones in the wrong, not God. Blaming God is evidence that we are refusing to let go of some disobedience somewhere in our lives. But as soon as we let go, everything becomes as clear as daylight to us. As long as we try to serve two masters, ourselves and God, there will be difficulties combined with doubt and confusion. Our attitude must be one of complete reliance on God. Once we get to that point, there is nothing easier than living the life of a saint. We encounter difficulties when we try to usurp the authority of the Holy Spirit for our own purposes.

God’s mark of approval, whenever you obey Him, is peace. He sends an immeasurable, deep peace; not a natural peace, "as the world gives," but the peace of Jesus. Whenever peace does not come, wait until it does, or seek to find out why it is not coming. If you are acting on your own impulse, or out of a sense of the heroic, to be seen by others, the peace of Jesus will not exhibit itself. This shows no unity with God or confidence in Him. The spirit of simplicity, clarity, and unity is born through the Holy Spirit, not through your decisions. God counters our self-willed decisions with an appeal for simplicity and unity.

Our questions arise whenever we cease to obey. When we do obey God, problems come, not between us and God, but as a means to keep our mind examining with amazement the revealed truth of God. But any problem that comes between God and ourselves is the result of disobedience. Any problem that comes while we obey God (and there will be many), increases our overjoyed delight, because we know that our Father knows and cares, and we can watch and anticipate how He will unravel our problems.

Diary of a guy in love

     10th grade

As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

    11th grade

The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

    Senior year

The day before prom she walked to my locker. "My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step! I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she doesn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

    Graduation Day

A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone
went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

    A Few Years Later

Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn`t see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

    Funeral

Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read:
I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me!
I wish I did too... I thought to my self, and I cried.

Keeping God First in Our Life

The socity we live in is full of pressures and burdens upon us. But if we keep God  first and give Him place of priorty in our life which He rightfully deserves, then we have to do it on purpose. If Jesus is not Lord of all, then He is not God at all! We need to constantly make adjustment of ourselves to keep God first in everything.
Our business may become the obstruct between us and God. Before the business doesn't make money anymore and has to be colsed, if you still keep God in your time and even you tithe of the property of your business, you will be amazed to see what will happen in your business. You have to keep God first! For often we pray for something and God gives it to us and the very thing He gives us is what separates us from Him. That what we can't do, so God comes and has to shake something. When you feel the shaking and wake up immediately and realize what's going on, it can still be redeem but if you don't and just make excusses, you will lose it! We may be in a relationship but it stealing our first love to God, so we find the relationship doesn't work anymore, don't compromise your standard, don't compromise the committment you made to God just to keep a relationship. When we determind to do things right and keep our commitments to God, God will honor us in a way that will be absolutely above what we have expected.
What kind of things is God "jealous" us? First of all, He jealous those people that you put higher than God. He doesn't like us to come to those people for advice first before God. Asking for advice is fine, but we shall first turn to God and God will let you feel to ask whom for advice. There is nothing wrong to go to people but don't go to them before you go to God and at least you show respect to God and ask what you want me to do? Do you want to speak to me yourself? Do you want me to go to talk with some body? Seek God first!

    Jeremiah 17:5-8
Thus says the Lord: Cursed are those who trust in mere mortals and make mere flesh their strength, whose hearts turn away from the Lord. They shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shal not see when relief comes. They shall live in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust in the Lord. They shall be like a tree planted by water, sendin gout its roots by the steam. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shal stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit.

This is awesome becasue it said if we seek God first and we put God first in your life we may have serious troubles but we won't be affected. Because we will be like a tree that's planted by the river that has deep roots. So we have to be deeply rooted in God which suppose to have a deep root in God, so that the storms in our life won't blow us from one place to another as we firmly planted in God. We know what we believe; We know who we believe; We know whom we trust in; We know God is faithful; We know God will come through. Then we become the person Romans 8 talks about: in all these things we are more than conquer. What does "more than conquer" mean? That means before the battle really gets heated up, we have already known who is going to win. If God is before me, who can be against me? So we can tell devil we are the victory and you will be defeated. We don't need to worry about anything and one is trouble, because He is our hiding place, He is our refuge, a present help in time of need.

Don't be devoted to God only in hard time. It is so amazing that how many people will turn away from the TV and friends to seek God when disaster comes, then what happens as soon as God solves the problem? Right back to the same old stuff. If He is not God of all, He is not God at all! Somebody can not image how his life would change if he just start to his first 10% to God.

Seek God when you are in trouble but also seek Him when you are in prosperity. We need to be close to Him at all the time because in reality God is in charge of everything, we can easily fall in the trap that just seek God when we need something or want something. But we should learn to seek God at anytime, seeking just as much, just sincere in good times as we do in hard times. Put God first in good times as well as in hard time!

The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace

[Stand therefore,] having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
    Ephesians 6:15

Just as water becomes stale if it stands still, so too, does our spiritual life grow stale if it is not passed on to others. Too many people seek spiritual experiences for their own sake. They believe that emotional experiences are most important. Surely, it is wonderful with a great meeting, but nothing compares to the experience of leading another person to Jesus. To see the Holy Spirit working in someone’s life, or to see people give their life to Jesus, with tears or with resolve, is among the most beautiful experiences we can have. We are never as happy and energized or as near to God as when we share the gospel with another person. Far too few Christians have experienced this.

It is God’s will that every believer, every soldier in His army, has the privilege of going out and winning souls for the kingdom of God. But without shoes we cannot go. And no one else can put on our shoes. We decide whether we are willing to share the Good News with others or whether we selfishly want to keep Jesus for ourselves. These shoes are also called the shoes of willingness, for Jesus never forces anyone. In Matthew 10:8 Jesus says, “Freely you have received, freely give.” Everyone needs Jesus. And Jesus needs you and me. He has no other
hands and feet than ours, but He does not force anyone to go.

Responding to The Da Vinci Code

I saw this post on my friend's site, I think it's important to share with you alll

What’s wrong with The Da Vinci Code?
    by J.P. Holding

It’s only fiction. What’s the big deal? The author (Dan Brown) does not think he is reporting fiction. On a June 9, 2003 interview on the Today show Brown said that it was his goal to "challenge certain long-held beliefs or truths about religion.” So he is obviously interested in persuading readers to a certain point of view.

Works of fiction are very capable of changing people’s minds about facts. In the Civil War era, the book Uncle Tom’s Cabin was instrumental in getting Americans to reject slavery, even though it was a work of fiction. The author of that book, Harriet Beecher Stowe, defended her book’s accuracy when critics attacked it. Why won’t Dan Brown defend his book from critics, if he really thinks it is worthy of challenging “long-held beliefs or truths”?

What’s wrong with it? The Da Vinci Code is filled with errors of fact on nearly every subject it touches. Here are some samples:

Jesus. The book says that Jesus had “thousands” of followers who recorded his life’s story, and that more than eighty gospels were produced. This is a practically an impossibility to begin with, because some 90 to 95 percent of people who lived at the time of Jesus could not read or write. However, the number of Gospels written over time by various parties (80) is inflated. No more than 50 such documents are known, many of them just by a title, and those otherwise known as full documents are often not properly “gospels” in form (in other words, they are not in the format of biographies as they were written in the first century, which the Gospels of the New Testament are). They are also certifiably written much later than the canonical four Gospels, and are not regarded as credible sources for the life of Jesus.

Constantine. The book says that Constantine “collated” the New Testament collection of books. Constantine in fact had nothing to do with the canon; the formal declaration of the canon occurred at a council that took place after Constantine’s death, and prior to this, consensus among the leaders in the church was the determining factor in what books were considered authoritative.

Mithra. The book claims that this ancient deity was a mirror image of the figure of Jesus: That he had been called the Son of God and the Light of the World – was born on December 25, died, was buried in a rock tomb, and then resurrected in three days. All of these claims are false, and are unknown to scholars who study Mithra. Mithra never died himself but was acclaimed for killing a cosmic bull (of the constellation Taurus).

The Council of Nicea. Contrary to the book, this Council did not decide that Jesus was divinity and not a mortal man. Both sides in this Council agreed that Jesus was divinity. The question at hand was whether Jesus was a created deity or an eternal deity.

Leonardo da Vinci. There is no evidence that da Vinci was a "nature worshipper" as Brown claims; he did many sketches of nature, but none of them had religious elements. Brown depicts Leonardo as being into the "darker arts"; in fact Leonardo was severely critical of the occult and pseudo-sciences and only gave some respect to alchemy where it came closer to being chemistry. He did not, contrary to Brown, believe he could turn lead into gold. He did not design torture devices as Brown says, though he did design some weapons of war.

The Mona Lisa. Brown claims that the painting was named by da Vinci to indicate a secret code made of an anagram for the Egyptian deities Amon and Isis. But the painting was not called “Mona Lisa” by da Vinci. In his time it was called “La Gioconda”. It is also not, as Brown indicates, a version of da Vinci dressed as a women, but the wife of a local merchant, as records of the time indicate.

Everything Else. It would take several pages to list all of Brown’s errors, but here are a few others:

Brown often refers to the "Vatican" as though it were synonymous with the Catholic Church. He refers to Constantine creating a "new Vatican power base." The Vatican as such did not exist until the 14th century as the Pope's residence; in Constantine's time it was still a swamp.

Brown says that Pope Clement V burned Templar knights and threw their ashes into the Tiber River. It was King Philip who burned the knights, and Clement could not have had their ashes tossed in the Tiber River (in Rome) even if he had burned them, because the Popes resided in Avignon (France) at the time; either the Tiber was diverted hundreds of miles, or Clement had a good throwing arm.

Brown applies the "Divine Proportion" to the population of beehives. The author of this commentary spoke with several beekeepers, all of whom scoffed at this idea. The ratio of male to female bees in a hive is not 1.618 to 1. A hive is usually at least 95% female. One beekeeper said that a hive with the proportions Brown describes would be dead within a few days, since females do all the real hive work. Perhaps some species of bee comes close to having the proportions Brown describes at some time, but it is clearly not a bee universal.

    The Desire of Our Heart

What are the desires of your heart? If God would say to you: ask me anything you want, no matter what it is, ask me for one desire, I'll give you the desire of your heart. Some body would say: that would be fantastic! Then how would you be impacted if you get exactly what you desire, will it make you closer to God or you find yourself be away from Him? What motivates you to have this desire? Do you know how to get this desire of your heart? What you are willing to give to get the desire of your heart? How to make desires become reality? Can we truly ask God to help us to get the desire? That depends on what the desire is.

Our desires reveals who we are, for example, our character, our motivations, our purpose, our plans for our life. That will reveal how we think, that reveals the things motivate in our life, that reveals the degree of the purity in our life. Even these are the Godly thoughts, if they are not compatible with God's will, purpose and plan to our life, they are not the right ones. There are  lots of people have different kinds of desires, but the problem is they have never sit down to think about what is really they are seeking for. So they go through the life, their desires changes and never realized that is other people's influence changes our desires. We see what someone else has, that's what we desire; We see what someone else is being, that's what we desire; We see whom someone else has, that's what we desire. So our desires are coming and going and changing. Well, probably the reason is we have never seriously thougt about what we truely need in our life. When all passed, I hope I can say I desired this and this is what happened in my life, this is the joy, and contentment, happiness and fulfillment , all these are my desires in my life and they made awesome contributation to my life. That would be wonderful if our desires all contribute to our life, but sometimes they don't. But if we never stopped upon what really we desire, how can we honestly ask God to give us the desire in our heart? What we should be careful is what we desire. Somebody say we should be careful of what we ask for God, cuz if we ask the wrong thing and God gives the wrong thing, we will be in touble. You never have to be worried about God giving you the wrong thing. What we have to concern about is our circumstance that with the tremendous help of Satan that we got our desire which is not God want us to have. We ask this, ask that but just never stop to ask God, what your desire to me, what you want me to do in my life, you created me, I belongs to you, what you put me here for? So therefore, we do by ourselves and make one big mess after another.

Now is there anythng wrong to have desire? No indeed! Desires are powerful, desires are motivating. God is the one who gives us desires in our life and He is the one who desires us to achieve and accomplish the potential that God put on us. Every single of us has our potential, if you do not have a strong desire, you won't consider you are capable to do God wants you or desires you to do. How will you ever reach your potential, how will you ever know what you could do, how will you accomplish anything in your life whithout a strong desire to make it happen? He desires we know Him, obey Him, walk with Him, He desires us to have intimate fellowship with Him, spend time with Him, trust on Him, lie on Him. He has many desires for us, every single desire God has for us is a good desire, because these desires come from a good God. The problem is we don't even desire the good things that God desires for us. But there is a warning here. In the Bible, He warns us againist foolish and wrong desires. So there are good desires and worldly desires, empty desires that corrupt us. There are lots of desires in this world which can not bring fulfillment, contentment, joy, peace and security. We desire this, desire that, get this, get that, but still wondering why there is still no contentment, no fulfillment. Because no matter who we are, what position we have, apart from God, we can never get contentment, we will never have true joy, we will never have genuine security. Satan can not creat it in our life. It is all from the loving mighty God who desires us to get the best. Our life is created by God, He desires the best for us, then what desires we have for ourselves? Through the secripture, we will see some strong requirements, because we must be sure what we desires is right. Of course if we pursue it and willing to pay the price, we will get the help of Satan to get our wrong desires. There are many desires in our life we can achieve, but we will anticipate a big disappointment if it's not the desire come from God. So let's see the scripture and the requirements it shows.

    Psalms 37:1-8
Do not fret because of the wicked, do not be envious of wrongdoers, for they will soon fade like the grass, and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He wil make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices. Refain from anger, and forsake wrath. Do not fret, it only leads to evil.

    1. Delight yourself in the Lord
What is the word "delight" gives to us? How do we delight ourselves in Lord? To delight ourselves to Him means we take pleasure in Him, take pleasure in knowing Him, take pleasure in talking to Him, take pleasure in being aware of His presence, take pleasure in praying to Him, take pleasure in worshiping Him, take pleasure in serving Him. In solitude, in rumination, take pleasure in reading His book. Because we are in His presence talking to Him and listening to Him speaking to our hearts. We take pleasure in knowing who He is. He is this awesome, infinite, mnipotent, omniscient, merciful, graceful, kind, loving and just God. We take pleasure in knowing Him as the creater with all of His unique power, potential to creat the most awesome thing in our life. We take pleasure in looking back all those things God has done in our heart, we take pleasure in expecting what He will do in our future. We take pleasure in knowing He is a good God and always has the best for us. We take pleasure in worshiping, in singing and praising. We delight ourselves in Him. He is the most delightful person we know, the most satisfying, fulfilling person we know! That's what it means to delight ourselves in Lord. Then there being the case, watch this carefully. As we delight ourselves in Lord, why sometimes we still can not get what we desire? Is that God's fault? No! Do you want to have anythng God doesn't want you to have in your life? Can you ask God for that? Yes, you can. But it's waste of time. God is not obligated or He won't give you anything that He knows will destroy your life, that is not good for you. But you say the scripture said He will give you the desire of your heart. Actually sometimes we don't know what we desire in our heart. We think we do. So what does God do? He listens to our desire that we tell with our very limited knowledge, then He answers based on His awesome, infinite knowledge that He knows what you really desire in your life. If we ask for something that will bring great pain, great suffering, great loss, great hurt, God knows that's not really what we desire, just what we think we desire. So what He do? He gives us what He desires us to have. So we shift our desires through our God, through the mind of God, through the heart of God.

    2. Commit your way to the Lord
That means to roll it over, give our desires to God. We trust in Him, transfer it to Him. Hope He will exam us, turn my thoughts if my desire is a little bit lower under His expectation to us, if it is more than what He knows the best time to us in our circumstance. It means to commit to Him and roll all over to Him. He can change anyway of our desire because He is a good God, He's going to change to the best. Some of our desires are very Godly, but some are not quite. So He helps us to understand as He is always looking to give us the good. Something is easy to be commited to God, but something especially the ungodly desires, if you means to transfer to God, you may transfer it , but it may get back to your face. The reason is He is not going to accept the desire which is not fit your benefit because He is committed to your best. So we can not argue with God. He desires to handle the desires of our heart. Do you have any desire that you can not transfer to God becasue you know that's not fit His will to you? That's what you should lay down.

    3. Trust in Him.
He wll do it! If we really and truely trust in Him, we will roll it over to Him. If we don't trust Him, we will hold on it tightly in case He does not do it according to our thoughts and time, or we manipulate the circumstance we under so that we will be sure, in case He forgets, in case He is not on time, we can still get what we want. Then what happens? We make mess all the time. When we are going to seek desires apart from God, we will make a mess of it. Whatever we are able to trust Him, we shall commit to Him, and we can look for God to do something very special in our life.

    4. Rest in the Lord.
That means we have placed in His hands, trust in Him, believe He can do anything, therefore we don't need to be fret and worry. It may look like things are falling apart, we will be upset? No! If we are freting, we don't trust in Him. If we are freting, we do not commit to Him. So He says rest in Him. To rest in Him is to lay down all the worry, annoying, because we have a loving Father who is an umbrella with divine, awesome protection and with no holes on it.

    5. Wait patiently.
The stronger your desire, the shorter your waiting fuse. Lord, thank you very much to give me my desire NOW! God, today...if not today what about tomorrow? If not tomorrow, next week...the latest is next month...You can not make Him do anything! You can not force God's hand for one single second. Then how to be patient? You can not be freting while waiting patiently. So what does that mean? It means waiting patiently without any complaining, wait without critizing, wait without manipulating, but with peace, quietness and contentment in the heart, just watch how He operates. He knows when we need all these. God knows when we are ready to receive this desire. He also knows when, whatever the other circumstances involving in your desire, when they are ready. So when we push ahead of God, we always make a mess of ourselves. It never never works out to get ahead of God, becasue He knows the perfect time when we are ready, when the circumstance is ready.

Can we put our strong desires to God? Yes! We put the desires to Him, be delight in Him, trust in Him and rest in Him and then wait patiently. We don't need to be worried, be freting and manipulating...just totally be confident, if our desires are in His will, as long as it is the right time, we will receive it!

    Live by Faith

Do you find yourself struggling with the promises He made to meet the particular needs that you have? Do you find yourself constrained almost trap by your circumstance? The question is do you desire a really better life you have? If you do desire a better life, you can have it! That's a choice you made. Then you may certainly give a lot of excuses why you don't have a better life. But the issue is do you really and truly desire one? Do you want to step out of the ordinary to be extraordinary, changing the thoughts, changing your way view God, changing the way you see Him, changing the way you look at life and changing the way that you see how God can use you. Do you really choose that or are you just want to remain what you are? The Bible has many accounts of different kinds of people and they are all ordinary people, through them, God has done some extraordinary things. And often time, we think they are very gifted, talented and skilled people or may be with lots of education. But this whole book with all these people who were ordinary in their day but when God touch their life, when God spoke to them and they responded in a proper way, God made their life extraordinary. Now the question is what factor in their life, what element in their life made them step out of ordinary into extraordinary. Can the same thing be true to us? And the answer is YES! Because God has not changed. He is still using ordinary people and there are many people who is living their extraordinary life around us whose name has never been on newspaper, television, no body will particular look them as extraordinary but you know what, they know they are, because they have the most exciting relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ. Life is no longer ordinary, the things troubled them before don't trouble them now, they don't see themselves constrained, locked in but they see themselves are growing, excited about what God's doing, knowing to them that they never knew before. So you see no matter what you accomplish in your life, if God doesn't use you and God doesn't work in your life, there will always be something major missing in your life. How do you move from ordinary to extraordinary life? Extraordinary christians always have Jesus Christ in their life, through whom to impact those around them. Then how to be that? The key factor here is "Faith". On Hebrews 11, we will read the scriptures about the old Testimony saints and how He use ordinary people that day to do the most extraordinary things. Maybe you say, I'm not old Testimony saints. Yes, but you are new Testimony saints if you are a believer. Well, you say he won't do that work on me. If you say God won't, then He won't; If you declare He can, then He works. Often time, it is us who block the blessing of God. We block His blessing by our unbelieve, our doubts, our fears and our anxiety. God desires us to be an extraordinary follower of Him, and once He does, you will never go back what you were before.

    Hebrews 11:1-6
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God. So that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.
The Example of Abel, Enoch and Noah.
By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain's. Through this he received approval as righteous. God himself giving approval to his gifts; he died, but through his faith he stll speaks. By faith Enoch was taken so that he did not expericne death, and " he was not found, because God had taken him." For it was attested before he was taken away that he had pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
The first thing the author wanted us to know is what is faith. Faith is confidence in the promise of God that we will do at the promised every time. There is no reason for doubting God who is all wise, who loves us unconditionally. The other thing is to tell us how important faith is. If you doubt God, doubt His promise, you can not please God. If you doubt that you imply God doesn't keep, can't keep His commitment and you are implying God is not trustworthy.

Living by faith, you trust Him, you obey Him, you don't have a lot of prove, you accept the word of God and watch His work. Sometimes, we are confident that we are living by faith. But let's see our character, our thoughts, we are not living by faith at all but by feeling, by opinions, by reasoning. Faith is above all of that. Then what is really a life of faith?
    1. When we live by faith, the will of God will be our guide. But so many of us just look the people around us, they just want to be someone else but not focus on God's will.

    2. When we live by faith, the promise of God will be our assurance. We will have the assurance that He says He will do it. We don't need any prove as God's promise is the prove. We just need to pruely trust Him. God knows our obedience when we trust Him, and the person who lives and walks by faith, lives by the promises of God. Whatever promises He send He will preform it. God has never failed anybody in any circumstance and in any situation.

    3. When we live by faith, the presence of God will be our comfort. The only thing Moses had when he walked to pharaoh was the promise of His presence from God. "I will be with you". Because Jesus said I will bide in you. God is living within every single believer. The truth is you could get away from God if you want to but He says I will never leave you nor forsake you in any condition. Whatever God requires of you, He requires of you with His presence. You don't go anythere without Him. This is the comfort Moses needed and God knew he needed it. So when we meet with our "pharaon", we meet with our "red sea", that is the same God gives us the same comfort if we trust Him. What you will fear when the all mighty God is living in you? Isn't His word enough?

    4. When we live by faith, the word of God will be our victory. His word is our victory. Often time God speaks to us, we hear but we don't obey it, then we wonder why it doesn't work? Because we focus on what people say, it is meaningless of what they say, the question is what God say, what does God think. What God wants me to do, then I do it, then I get victory.

    5. When we live by faith, the power of God will be our strength. The power of God is released in our life when we faith big challenges. We can not handle it, it is God who is willing to release His power in our life if we trust Him. God is behind us and with us and follow us as our protector and empowers us and strengths us, make it possible for us to live an extraordinary life but we have to turst Him. It is the power of the all mighty God release in our life by our faith.

    6. When we live by faith, the approval of God will be our motivation and reward. We want to please Him, we want to be obedience to Him, so that He can say"well done", that's not just our motivation but also a part of reward.

Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. You can perform good, you can be good person, you can give to others, you can pray...but all these can not be substituted by one simple thing"Faith" to please God. And the reason you are messed around you is because you don't trust Him, you won't believe Him, you won't take the first step, and sometimes the first step looks like a mile wide, take it, see what God does!

    The Ten Commandments

On the battlefield, when the general gives the order, he does not give the order for debate or for consideration, but for absolute obedience. When God gives His comandenats in the scripture, He does not give commandments for debate or consideration. He gives them to us for the obedient to them. And the law God gave us throug scripture is crystal clear. The one among them that we are probably familiar with is the law we called the Ten Commandments.

The Ten Commandments are God's moral standard for regulating the conduct of all men. Jesus said He came not to abolish the law but to fulfill the law. Jesus fulfilled the law by
    1. Dying on the cross as total payment for our sin.
    2. Living fully and complete the Ten Commandments.

The Ten Commandments came from the voice of God, spoken to His servant Moses.

The Ten Commandments enable us to see God as righteous and holy.

The Ten Commandments were given for our own protection.
It is certainly of protection for our life for our liberty for our family and for our property.
---"You shall have no other gods before me" protecting our relationship to Him
---"Creating no image"  pretection us from adoration and making images.
---"Not to make wrongful use of His name" protecting us from misusing His name which is called holy
---"The sabbth day" protecting us from working day and night and overtired.
---"Honor your parents" protecting th efamily and displine the children.
---"Shall not kill" protecting us hurting and harming one another.
---"Shall not commit adultery protecting the family and loving relationships.

Every single aspect of our life is given for our good and people say that I don't believe it, that cramps my style. Maybe it cramps your style, but your style is the style of self-destraction if you ignore God's standard of conduct. God will judge those who violate His laws and those who attempt to in some say to interpret it to downgrade the meaning of Ten Commandments.

You can not be saved by keeping the Ten Commandments because forgiveness is not mentioned, because that's not what the purpose is. As Paul said, Ten Commandments is our tutor, our teacher.

It is by the Ten Commandments we understand our sinfulness. We can understand how wicked and ungoldly we are. It is by the Ten Commandments we recongize we need the grace of God, we need the mercy of God, we need forgiveness of God.
    Galatians 2:16
Yes we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by doing the works of law, because no one wil be justified by the works of the law.
So it can not save us, it can not lift us from the power of our sin, and it is nothing about the enternal life. God didn't use the Ten Commandments as the means of salvation. He gave it to instruct us. That we are sinful, that we are weak, that we are incapable, we need the goodness, the mercy, the grace of God provided for us through the death of Jesus Christ. That's the reason and purpose.

The Ten Commandments are absolutely indestructible. God gave it to Moses thousands of years ago. Think about how many people tried to destory the word of God, but they are still standing. God uses His infinite wisdom, in the infinite love to give us the law. This is God's law to pretect us, to show us what we nee.

    Instruction
    1. Exodus 20:3
You shall have no other gods before me.
Somebody say thank God, that's the one I don't have to worry about. Hold on...What does it mean to have no other gods before me? You know what becomes the god in your life? JHVH is the ultimate final authority. So anything, anybody, whatever you place in your life with the position of being above God. You don't need to physically bow to them, but emotionally, mentally. That means you obey them ratehr than God, you would follow them rather than God, you just worship their talents, skills...more than God. People worship money, worship people, prestige, power...

    2. Exodus 20:4,5
You shall not make for yourself an idol nor shall you worshop or serve them.
Someone say I don't have and idols in my house. But do you have them in your heart?
    Matthew 4:10
Worship the Lord your God, and serve only him.
In spirit and in truth by faith not by looking at something else. If you have to look at something to remaind you of God, you must have something missing in your life. God doesn't need us a bowing down to anything, making any kind of idel in our life. If Jesuse Christ is in your life, Christ in you is sufficient, you don't need any icons, you have Him. One very important thing to God is you don't make any idol or don't recongize any idol.

    3. Exodus 20:7
You shall not take the name of the Lord your Godin vain. For the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.
This is talking about many Christians do. You may hear sb, whey they get frustrated, would say: Jesuse Christ! That is the violation of the Ten Commandments, it is the violation of the law of God. You can not profane His name.

    4. Exodus 20:8
Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.
It does not meanit has to be Saturday. The Sabbath is the day of rest. God gave this commandment because He knew how He constituted our body, mind, soul, spirit. He did not intense us to work seven days a week, week fater week, week after week....He intend us to have a day of rest, that day can be spent in different ways, to spend time with Him, to worship Him. Every single believer has the responsibility of resting of his body and taking time to worship the Lord, our God. You have to decide are you willing and truely to give God any time, are you resting your body to please and honor God?

    5. Exodus 20:12
Honor your father and your mother.
He doesn't say honor your father and mother as long as they are honorable. He said to honor your father and mother purely. Then you will live such a way that your life will be more productive and fruitful.

    6.Exodus 20:13
    You shall not murder.
It means that we can not take someone else's life. Then what is that on the war? People are killing people. That is not murder. They are under the authority of government. You can not say that is sin to kill somebody on the war. He is talking about vengeance, He is talking about anger...And when people kill someone by accident, God made a room for that. So what God means is you should not respond to another person of vengeance, anger, hospility in the life. Now there comes another question, that we respect humanbeings' life, what about abortion? That is deliberately willingly destorying a life created by the living God.

    7. Exodus 20:14
    You shall not commit adultery.
Today we redefine the adultery, we cal it gets "affair", we just respell the whole word and we change the attitude. Then what happens? We become so blind, we accept so much the ways in the world. The law God gave is to show the wrickness of our heart. And then, Jesus came to enlarge the definition. He said it's not just so much the act, it's the thought, it's not just the thought, it is people desire who you see. When you desire in your mind, you start to get steps to do that, it is the guilty of adultery.

    8.Exodus 20:15
    You shall not steal.
Some people think this way: if you have more than I have, then I should have the right to get something from you and you still have plenty left. That's absolutely wrong. Another thing is if you are lazy in your job and don't do your best, you are also stealing the time, the energy, the talent...God gave you.

    9. Exodus 20:16
You shall not bear false witness.
That not only means standing on the cour, make a statement that is false, it also means if you say something not true about someone, you are abusing someone else's character, you are absuing someone else's life. You are violating the Ten Commandments.

    10. Exodus 20:17
    You shall not covet.
That is the strong inessentialable desire. Then why is this at the end? Because this is attitude. Stealing is an act, adultery is an act, lying is an act...but as it comes to coveting, it's an attitude in your heart. This is breaking yourself over all the others begin.

These Ten Commandments are God's unchanging moral standed for all mankind. If I'm willing through the help of the holy spirit, the strength of the holy spirit, the power of the holy spirit, if I'm willing to live a goldly life, we shoudl rely on the Ten Commandments to do things right in each of these areas. But we don't live under such burden...oh..God, I don't want to break the law...It's the living of freedom and liberty, by the power of holy spirit to choose to live by the laws of God!
